The U.S. Department of State would like to inform you about an exciting new initiative in Southeast Asia—the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI). Launched by President Obama in 2013, YSEALI seeks to create a cadre of young leaders throughout the ten ASEAN member countries: Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The U.S. State Department is inviting youth aged 18-35 years old, who are citizens and residents of an ASEAN country to join YSEALI. This one-pager provides details on YSEALI, the benefits of becoming a member, and how to join.
In addition, YSEALI periodically holds grant competitions that award funds for projects implemented within Southeast Asia. Stay up to date with breaking news on competitions by liking their Facebook page.
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity. Visit the YSEALI website for more information https://youngsoutheastasianleaders.state.gov/.
