The Cubs were in contention for the playoffs and scored the game-winning run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 10th inning to elevate them to a 7-6 victory. The trainees had the experience of “flying the W” – a Wrigley Field tradition of waving a flag with a big, blue W – and celebrating an important win. Everyone had fun and were on the edge of their seats trying not to spill their peanuts and Cracker Jacks and singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame." This was the first baseball game for one of our trainees, and it could not have been a more exciting introduction to the game! It was a beautiful and crisp fall night in Chicago that showcased one of the city’s busiest and most entertaining neighborhoods.
