Shudan G. from China described her 4th of July in Bar Harbor, Maine: "The 4th July was a funny and unforgettable day. In the morning, I went to see the parade. I got many candies, a flower chain and an American flag. I was surprised when I ran into the KOA team which I work for. I was invited parading by my employer to the parade car. I was very happy to put on a blue and red hat and give gifts to the children during the parade. When the parade finished, my American roommate and I went to a Mexican restaurant. We ate the famous tacos and then we go to play a game with kids and buy some special souvenirs. At 9 pm, a group of us sat on the blanket and watched wonderful fireworks while eating delicious pizza."
