Spirit is happy to announce that our 2023 Summer Photo Contest Grand Prize Winner is… Azjargal A. from Mongolia!
Azjargal entered his winning photo during the Week 3 category “4th of July Spirit.” He says, “I went to the soccer game of Switchbacks FC vs Monterey Bay FC. It was an unforgettable and exciting experience for me.” Azjargal has been spending his BridgeUSA Work and Travel program in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the home of the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

Azjargal has been working as a Housekeeper and Room Attendant, but he has enjoyed wearing many other “hats” at his Host Employer!

Aside from the Switchbacks soccer game, Azjargal has been enjoying other Colorado Springs places of interest. For example, he recently got to visit the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) “to learn about American college life and environment.” He also went with his friends to the Garden of the Gods, which he describes as a “sunny, rainy, cloudy, funny, hungry day!”
Azjargal is an Electronics Engineering student in his home country and would like to visit Ivy League schools in the US. We thank him for his Summer Photo Contest participation and wish him a great rest of the summer!
