Spirit is happy to announce that our 2024 Summer Photo Contest Grand Prize Winner is… Nicolas R. from Colombia!
Nicolas entered his winning photo during the Week 5 category “At Work” He says, “Summer goes well with my lifeguard spirit.” Nicolas has been spending his BridgeUSA Work and Travel program in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, where he works as a Lifeguard at Noah’s Ark Waterpark and Flamingo Motel.
During his program, he decided to get tickets the Mount Olympus Water Park for some fun in the sun with friends! He even checked out Devil’s Lake for some stunning views.
He also decided to do some exploring in the area he was working at for the summer, Wisconsin. From having meals with his friends, to attending employee parties with his coworkers, to visiting the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, there was plenty of action waiting for him there.
Overall, he absolutely loved learning about American culture, and even attended a cultural show where he was able to meet people of many cultures, and try new things.
