Ana graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications and Political Science. As a student she traveled and studied in Latin America and later taught Spanish in her local school district. Ana is an advocate for elementary school foreign language instruction and is a member of the World Language Advisory Committee in her hometown.
