Meiping X. spent the summer working at a hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. On September 24, she celebrated her friend Vicky's birthday. Meiping and an American woman worked together to make food for Vicky's birthday. The woman made a birthday cake and Meiping made Chinese food. They ate together, and Meiping called it "a meaningful birthday!"
